The Panturas is a surf-inspired rock band hailed from the land with no proximity near the beach, Jatinangor. Consisting of Abyan (Vocal & Guitar), Rizal (Guitar), Bagus Patria (Bass) and Surya (Drum). The Panturas bring summer ocean tunes inspired by The Ventures, Dick Dale and Eka Sapta.
With Sunshine as their initial flourishing journey, The Panturas have marked their milestone in several respected events, be it national to international scale. Between 2017 to 2019. The Panturas have been a part of We The Fest, Soundrenaline, Syncronize, Hellprint (Bandung) and Rocking the region (Singapore).
Not only have they performed at big music festival, The Panturas was also of the notable micro gigs in Jakarta. Such as Thursday Noise Vol. 10 and Superbad Jakarta. The are also active in holding their own showcase in their main hometown (Jakarta and Bandung) and showcase – one of them covered Java, Bali and Sumatra Island.
The Panturas’ journey began when they released a mini-album titled ‘Mabuk Laut’ in 2018. This album, which features seven songs, was unexpectedly well received by the sidestream music audience in Indonesia. As a result, two showcases held in Jakarta and Bandung sold out at that time.
Following this, they released a full album titled ‘Ombak Banyu Asmara’ in 2022. With improved production quality and the expert touch of producer Lafa Pratomo, The Panturas navigated through unimaginable territories with this album. Three showcases, drawing a total of 5,000 attendees, sold out, and the band toured Indonesia and performed at numerous festivals, further solidifying their position on the Indonesian sidestream music map.
The journey of The Panturas does not stop there. In 2024, they have a new album that showcases a strong experimental ambiance, blending the distinctive pentatonic tones of the Sundanese culture with surf rhythms, resulting in the authentic ‘Galura Tropikalia
